About Us
UN Global Compact Network Sri Lanka is the Local Network of the UN Global Compact. The Network was Launched/incorporated on the 1st of April 2011 and set out to accelerate, scale and strengthen the local collective impact of business by upholding the Ten Principles and delivering the Sustainable Development Goals through uniting responsible businesses and ecosystems that enable change. The Network’s programming is centred around seven key focus areas, namely Climate Emergency, Water Stewardship, Business and Human Rights, Gender & Diversity, Sustainable Supply Chains, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Sustainable Finance. We are uniquely positioned to assist the Private Sector to uphold the Ten Principles and deliver on the SDGs through our multi-stakeholder partnerships.
